Nikiana Beach

Location: The beach is located along the village of Nikiana, on the east coast of Lefkada, with easy access from the main road of the village.
Beach type: It is a small pebble and fine sand beach with very clear and shallow waters, which makes it particularly suitable for families and children.
View: From the beach, the view of the Ionian Sea is magnificent, while the green islands of Skorpios and Meganissi can be seen opposite.
Sea Activities: The area is ideal for swimming and exploring the seabed, as the waters are usually calm and are ideal for mask and snorkel. There are also opportunities for renting sea boats, ideal for trips around Lefkada and the neighbouring islands.
Facilities and Infrastructure: The beach in Nikiana has a few organized spots with sunbeds and umbrellas, as well as restaurants and cafes located nearby.

Castle of Agia Maura

The Castle of Agia Maura is one of the most important historical monuments of Lefkada and one of the best preserved castles in Greece. It is located at the entrance of the island, near the bridge that connects Lefkada with mainland Greece, and is an impressive example of Venetian fortification architecture.

Monastery of Faneromeni

The monastery is dedicated to Theotokos Faneromeni, the patron saint and protector of the island, and is a spiritual centre for the inhabitants of Lefkada.
Lighthouse of the Duchy
